During the first edition of Cisterna Film Festival, we have seen not only very high quality short films, many of them crowned with international relevance awards, but also personalities in our cinematographic panorama who are having a clear success. We are referring precisely to Enrico Iannaccone and Emanuele Rauco, who last year were members of our jury.
Iannaccone, who won the David di Donatello Award in 2013 for the Best Short Film, will debut in movie theatres from May 5 with his first feature film entitled “La Buona Uscita”, of which he is the director and screenwriter. The film, set in Naples, tells about that rich and arrogant, cynical and narcissist middle class moved more by their own interests than the common good.
Whereas, the critic Emanuele Rauco has been recently the protagonist of a news coming directly from the Venice Film Festival: he has been chosen to be part of an expert group that will be involved in the selection work together with the Director of the Festival Alberto Barbera.
Nothing left to do but wish a huge good luck to all the friends of Cisterna Film Festival.
