While awaiting the third edition of the Cisterna Film Festival, the Cultural Association MOBilitazioni Artistiche together with the Voland bookshop will present the Aperilibro with Alberto Crespi on Friday, April 28 at 6.00 pm at the courtyard of Palazzo Caetani in Cisterna di Latina.
After the great success with the previous meetings, which have seen many great names as Dacia Maraini, Corrado Augias and Paolo Rumiz, Aperilibro comes back with a new appointment with reading and culture in Cisterna di Latina. For this occasion, the author, as well as film critic, lecturer, radio journalist and author, will present his book “Storia d’Italia in 15 film” (History of Italy in 15 films), Editori Laterza. From the “auteur cinema” to the new TV series, from spaghetti Western to costume dramas: a work that speaks not only about cinema, but also of the history of our country from the Risorgimento to present days, seen through the camera.
The meeting moderator will be Claudio De Pasqualis, alias Efisio Mulas in the radio broadcast “Hollywood Party”.
During this event, the 3rd edition of the Cisterna Film Festival – International Short Film Festival will be proudly presented and some novelties will be revealed.
Alberto Crespi is a journalist and film critic, he has written among others for “L’Unità” and he is one of the authors and journalists of “Hollywood Party”, the historic radio broadcast of Radio3 Rai. He has followed for years all the most important film festivals, he has written several books on seventh art, he teaches in schools and a cinema academy, he is the artistic director of a restored movie festival and has collaborated on the selection of the Venice Film Festival and, currently, the Film Festival in Rome.
