It won over our viewers, who gave it the Audience Award in the fifth edition of the Cisterna Film Festival and earned a special mention from the jury for the screenplay. It’s Nefta Football Club, a French short film directed by Yves Piat. The film is the story of two Tunisian brothers, football lovers, who come across a mule lost in the middle of the desert on the border with Algeria. A mule who wears headphones to listen the music and carries a precious load.
Fingers crossed for this short, which on February 9th in Los Angeles will compete to win the Oscar for the Best Live Action Short Film!
