As every year, the Focus On Section returns and focuses on the productions of a specific geographical area, organized in collaboration with national institutions. For this edition, a selection of short films from Germany will be present, thanks to the sponsorship of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. The eight Focus On Germany titles, which will be screened during the first evening of the festival, have been chosen in synergy with German Films, the national information and consultancy institution for the promotion of German films worldwide. They are also part of the Next Generation Short Tiger program, which includes the best shorts from German film schools.
